I agree, think the chaos early would have been more appropriate. Then allow for detective work to begin and btw what "true detective" work is being done here. I don't get it.

i had to start the series late, but i did joke after 3 eps that i thought it would be hilarious if this season didn't focus on a conspiracy and it was revealed late to be the opposite of season 1

Nice catch. Maybe recessed gene.. This episode along with last seems more like last season. Thought out scenes, dialoge, and tension..
