The lawyer part makes me think that she requested the paternity test to get CF to back down. CF knows the kid isn't his, but the paternity test leaves no doubt. So, she figured CF would rather give up than agree to the test.

FWIW-The ex-wife did not tell Velcoro about the DNA linked guy getting caught. DeAngelo Barksdale's mom told him....
ETA-when Velcoro met the guy through the glass, they 100% played up the delay of the "rapist" coming into frame. Like we all really expected him to obviously be a red-headed dude....but GASP!!!! He wasn't...Twill be interesting.

Rachel McAdams has never looked as good as she looked going into the skeevy rich guy party. She's a much better brunette than blonde IMO (and whatever that two tone crap is she's sporting in the show).
I never was much of a fan of hers especially back in the Mean Girls days. I am now.
