Batman.

Returns is good, but it feels like Batman is barely in it.

Ill say batman, returns was more of a noire film and had better production values, but missing that oh so glorious 80s feel. Original is also a tribute to the days when movies were shot entirely in studio plus axis chemicals is the same set as the hive in aliens

89 for me

batman, no question.

returns feels like a chore to get through sometimes. I'd honestly rather watch batman forever.

Batman.

Returns was too much Tim Burton, I hated his vision of the Penguin. I meeeeaaaannn....trained penguins with shoulder mounted rockets? Yet for some reason I found it touching when the penguins gave the actual Penguin his river sendoff.

Returns as a kid. Batman as an adult.

this. I loved Returns as a kid, but this movie didn't hold up at all. I think it sucks.

They were awesome, the whole cast was great. The Penguin-sewer story line was just so bad. Seriously, why do you put him in a sewer? That's the best thing you could come up with to make him an outcast?

Penguin was my favorite part of Returns. They actually made DeVito scary looking which is hard to due considering he is 4"10.

That's what's crazy for me...I think DeVito did a great job, the character was scary, but I just thought, that's not the Penguin. Seriously...the guy had a penguin army.

People bitch about "how the frick did Batman (the world's smartest ninja) get back into Gotham" in TDKR. I wanna know how much time and effort went into training those penguins.

Batman Returns was a disturbing film, especially the beginning.

On the commentary he said some were men in suits, some were actual penguins (the sewer set was freezing cold because of them), and some were puppets. The funeral was definitely men in suits.
