HBO has left us stranded until 3/31

I only have HBO for BE & GoT. I'll probably call and cancel it until 3/31. Either I'll save the $12-15/month I am paying for it or they'll give me a big discount to keep it. I can live with both scenarios.

I gave Girls a chance recently and I actually think it's ok.

but yeah, the next month or few months is gonna suck for my TV watching.

Veep is good. I forgot to mention that. I also enjoy newsroom, but none of those shows are heavyweights. Like you said we're in for a long 4 months

Good. Now I have time to get into Boardwalk and GoT before new seasons start.

They need more episodes of "Life's To Short". That show is funny ..scene with him and Johnny Depp is great.

I need to start getting into this.

I've watched a couple episodes and really enjoyed it.

I'm not a fan of the medieval setting but I'll give it a shot.

I was close to giving it up but then it had a pretty good season this past summer. All indications are it's going to have an awesome 6th season especially now that Bill is the villain.

Maybe I'll give Veep a chance.

and not JUST HBO, but this all comes so abruptly...The Walking Dead, Boardwalk, SOA, Revolution all just end pretty much the same week. Then Homeland is done after next week. It's been so good from September til now, and then it just literally falls off a cliff until February or March. I guess I've got Shameless to look fwd to in mid January, but that's about it.

I might start watching Homeland over winter break as far as new series I haven't seen. I need to rewatch the first part of the breaking bad season.

Oh and Justified comes back Jan. 8th

yeah there were moments in the season where I had my doubts, but it ended pretty good. It was always just enough to keep me coming back.

I do think "Last Resort" on ABC is way better but it already got shitcanned. I'd probably say Last Resort was better than Revolution and I'd much rather see a 2nd season.....but Revolution is watchable enough, just don't know if I can really sell it to you all that well if that makes any sense

I enjoy Girls... But, has anybody noticed that the Sopranos is on HBO Signature every night at 7 p.m. Central?

It's definitely not a medieval setting.
