Good list. Certainly agree with number 1. Drop number 9, though, and replace with "Alfie" or "Singin' in the Rain". Number 6 doesn't belong, either... not even among the top three Bond songs. Number 2 is just a silly inclusion.

What's it all about, Alfie? Is it just for the moment we live?

What do you think of their list?

When you compare these songs to actual symphonic scores which served as the soundtrack for a number of movies this list looks pretty shitty.

Symphonic scores have their own category at the Oscars called Best Original Score. The category this list comes from is Best Original Song.

Sooner or Later is better than Streets of Philadephia

As much as I love Adele, I have to agree (I'd put it in the top three Bond songs, however). So many more iconic songs--even non-Oscar winning songs--that are a bit better.

Completely agree.

#2 is a joke.

Streets of Philadelphia should be higher. Can't argue with #1. If they wanted a rap song they should have put regulators by warren g from the above the rim soundtrack.

Edit- never mind on regulators.... I just saw the title as Oscar winning songs

I like Phil Collins's song "You'll be in my heart" that was on Tarzan.

Blame Canada would have made the list if Phil Collins did get the award that year
