One of the Best Episodes of the entire BB/BCS universe
I really wish we could get more seasons.

The burial of Lalo and Howard. Wow!

What a goddamn show
It’s so good that they pretty much show you how it’s gonna go down ( Lalo showdown with the hidden gun) and it’s still amazing tv .
They don’t need the element of surprise or slight of hand. They just make it work flawlessly

So why didn’t they bury the 3 or 4 guys who were also killed at the laundry with Howard & Lalo?

How does this affect Kim and Jimmy’s relationship? There’s no going back to the way it was for sure.

The Gus/Lalo arc seems to have wrapped up. Five episodes left.
What is left to be wrapped up?
Kim
That godawful house from episode 1
Gene

True, but it was a great visual with Lalo and Howard in the grave

One of the best episodes in the entire breaking bad franchise.

I really wonder if the guilt of Howards demise eats at Kim and what happens from that
It’s weird , one part of me thinks well they are knocking pieces off the chess board and I can see the ending coming finally and then the other is how the hell are they gonna wrap it up in 5 episodes

So we are primed for a flash forward.
This episode reminded me a lot of the episode of BB when Hank figures out that Walt is Heisenberg and confronts him in the garage. Leading up to it, we thought the entire rest of the season was gonna be Hank trailing Walt without him knowing but they made the confrontation happen in the first episode.
Lalo getting resolved in this episode really opened up what they can do with the rest of the show.

It definitely will. You could see their guilt when Mine said they would just need to stick to their own story about Howard being a drug addict. That’s how everyone is going to “remember” him now.

I'm starting to get sad this show is almost over

Kim is fried
A day ago she was driving to interview for her dream job while thinking she had beaten Howard and would have life changing money from the Sandpiper settlement.
Now she is fresh off witnessing and feeling responsible for Howard’s death and then fully committing to kill a complete stranger.
Her life has done a 180 with the quickness.

agreed. we had another nod to kim leaving without shoes (like from her past) and a toothbrush end quote being a nod to the 1 toothbrush in saul's mansion.
1) kim is the person saul tells francesca to call at that random time/date. meaning kim is not working with saul in BB they only talk 1x a year.
2) kim splits due to plot and increasingly in your face hints and is not with saul in BB
3) would be absolutely bonkers option that they just skip over any explanation of kim being/not in BB and leave it open for interpretation.

So maybe we’ll see Jimmy/Kim get their cut of the sandpiper check too and then I think that will bring the floodgates on for Kim.. literal blood money and to destroy Howard’s reputation too

Are Walt and Jessie in this episode?
Posted on 7/11/22 at 9:28 pm to AMS
Saw someone on Reddit make a great point.
The fact that Lalo failed at bringing evidence of the lab to don Eladio made Howard's death even more meaningless. Tragic. Then he's buried with the guy. And he thought his wife leaving him was the problem.

When Jimmy was tied up in the chair trying to get out, I thought he was gonna move it around and then fall face-first into Howard's blood.

howards death is still somewhat meaningful. its going to have taught jimmy/kim a lesson. it also will kind of get saul out of active cartel type business other than continuing to have constant contact with them until walt forces him back into it.
