Thrones fight to the death. Khal Drogo vs The Mountain(no armor or weapons)

The Mountain. not sure how close this would even be. The Mountain has seen countless battles all over the map and fought all types of warriors. His experience alone I think would beat Drogo.

We actually saw the Mountain in action twice and he got outfought both times. He can take tremendous damage but he has zero skill. Who would voluntarily train with him?

But the Mountain completely relies on his armor. Khal Drogo doesn't at all and is quick. With no armor, I'll take Drogo in the fight. With armor, Drogo doesn't stand a chance in hell.

Pretty much because the mountain fights with heavy plate mail. You take all that off and advantage=drogo. Drogo is used to fighting and only taking minor nicks. Mountain is used to taking blows but them bouncing off his armor.

He killed Rhaegar's wife and young children in the sack of KL, maybe he killed a few City Watch on his way in, but no one of note. Its a fair guess that he fought in the first Greyjoy uprising but failed to distinguish himself. Then he murdered large numbers pf peasants in the Riverlands. Killing Dondarrion is a major win but just where did he get all this experience?
Drogo, on the other hand, has been at war his entire life. He assembled a khalasar 80.000 strong by facing the other Khals in single, unarmored combat. The battle experience falls heavily to Drogo. The puncher's chance is the Mountain's only chance. It was enough against Prince Oberyn. But he in no way approached the Viper's skill level.

In a fight where they have to kill each other all Mandingo style? I've seen the type of damage the Mountain can do with his bare hands. No doubt Drogo is a ridiculous hand to hand fighter, but one slip, get in too close one too many times, and it's over. The Mountain has fighting skills, he's not useless. Might just bee too much mass to fight off with even Drogo's bare hands. Like I said, I need heights and weights too see how much difference there is on the tale of the tape.

Given the machismo of Drago I think the Mountain might prevail.
If he were less concerned with his honor he could wear him down by hitting and moving but in straight up fist to fist grappling combat the Mountain is too much bigger and stronger

Let's say Drogo is 6'4" or 6'5", 285-290, the Mountain is 6'9"/6'10", 390-400...it'd be pretty tough to beat a guy with some skill that outweighs you by 100 lbs. Not insurmountable for one of the world's best killers, but I don't think Vegas would put their money on Drogo.
