Thoughts on the movie Always?

Don't know why but I saw it on Netflix and I knew a guy who was a firefighter pilot. I guess it's supposed to be super sappy but 15 minutes in, it's worth checking out just for John Goodman who is hilarious.

Very sappy but good. Very sad. Being made in 88' I believe makes the music make the movie feel dated. Timeless music but Dreyfus is already playing an older man to Hunter.

If you're referring to the 1927 movie Wings, then no, it wasn't a remake.
May have been another movie by the same name unfamiliar to me.
