I watched it last night and I had conflicting thoughts. I know it got panned by critics but I think it has some good bits to it.

It was stupid but entertaining enough. Gary Oldman was over the top and Heather Graham and Lacy Chabert looked good.

I only watched it because MiMi Rogers was in it. I had quite a thing for her back in the day. I don't remember the movie much. Loved the original TV series though.

One of my favorites growing up, thought the skittles monkey was dumb though. Matt Leblanc kicks arse in it. Dude brought some Brendan Frasieresque energy to the role

I think the action is pretty good and there are some cool 5th Element like visuals. I like the side story with the bad faction competing to see who can start up a colony first. There's interesting things throughout. It's really after Grahm and Joey don't hookup that the melodramatic BS starts going over the top and the genius kid turns into a idiot

Good movie when your a kid in 2002. Now it's quite obvious how terrible it is. Had a sequel lined up and was canceled. If only they did that for the Divergent series.

I was 8-9 when I saw it. Still remember watching the scene of them flying through the planet at the theater lol.

There were a few nice tip-of-the-hats to the original series. It had a good cast. I don't think it's the worst movie of all time, and somewhat entertaining, but I think they tried to bite off too much with the script.

It is the second worst movie I've ever seen.

I thought so when I watched it, but that was when I was like 10... and she was 15.

It's best remembered for being the film that finally de-throned Titanic at the box office. Up to that point, Titanic had been #1 for 14 straight weeks.

It was a few years too early. Penney's CGI pet would've worked in a post-Gollum film. So would Don's animated helmet/visor. They swung for the fences on the SFX and missed a couple of times.

They also went way too dark. The TV series went from serious to silly to ridiculous. There was no reason for the film to turn Will and Smith into pitifull and sadistic villains.

On the bright side it was perfectly cast.

I was a big fan of the original series. The movie, not so much. I'm curious to see what Netflix does with their reboot of the series. I love me some Parker Posey. I can't wait to see what she does with the character of Dr. Smith.

I remember it as a solid enough movie with some lame parts. Was a good breakout role for Leblanc. Not sure how it'd be now, been a long time.

Billy Mumy has visited the set and posted a few pics. He seems happy with what he's seen.

it's not a great film at all, but it is one of my guilty pleasures and watch from time to time.

Loved Oldman in it as Doctor Smith
