Did anyone else get a weird feeling about his return to prison? Obviously he was out of control and needed to go, but putting the police on him seemed like a bitch move. It was certainly smart, but it seems like a clear violations of "the code," and to have multiple guys involved in that... it just didn't seem right to me.

ETA- to clarify, I'm not really questioning the morality or strategy from the characters, it's the writing I find questionable.

Feech was respected but he had to go. Didn't respect Tony and was too disruptive

Can't kill him because the guys might take it wrong so they got rid of him without getting blood on their hands

I get not wanting to whack a made man on account of the guys, but how is sending him to jail any better?

Maybe it's only snitching that is frowned upon, and using the police is ok ? That seems unlikely.

Tony and Chris should have disappeared him or something.

Yeah, I agree that it's kind of weird and maybe a little inconsistent. Neither whacking nor snitching on him is desirable, but snitching seems to be the ultimate sin for these guys. Even murder isn't as bad. The only thing that might be arguably worse than snitching would be harming children.

But I guess they are all shite bags anyway. Their morals are very situational depending on where their interests lie. Maybe it's another iteration of how horrible these people are coming from the writers. Showcasing their hypocrisy.

Did they actually snitch on him? I thought they just let his greed put him into such a position that his P.O. would know something was up.

I think it's pretty heavily implied that they set him up. Tony said explicitly that he needed to be taken care of. They convinced him to let them store the stolen goods there then a new PO showed up unscheduled. I think that suggests that the PO had some kind of tip.

he was definitely set up. No doubt about it.

I seem to remember someone (I think it was Chris) mentioning his PO. I could be completely wrong about that though.

I saw it as them "respecting" him (twisted as it is) by not having him whacked while at the same time getting him out of the way.

Of course he was set up. That's why the camera was focused on him on his return to prison, because he realized Tony was behind the whole thing.

Off-camera, they dumped the character because the actor porting Feech (Robert Loggia) kept forgetting his lines.
