If you haven't watched In The Loop (movie) on Netflix you really need to. I've loved British TV since Monty Python days.

If you like English comedies, try to watch the show Plebs. It is literally just British characters set in classical Rome and it is hysterical.

I really enjoyed Top of the Lake.
The Missing was very good.
Peaky Blinders is one of my favorite shows I've seen in a while. I put it up there with Boardwalk Empire only two seasons in. I found that it gets awesome at the end of season 1, beginning of season 2.
