This board uses the adjective "solid" a lot.

But it's okay, because this is a solid board.

You were able to sell this thread? That's solid.

At least this board doesn't scream "melt" every other post like the SEC Rant. Or "Germans" like the OT. "Sauce" was really starting to grate on the Coaching Change board.

We also tend to shy away from the use of baw so we have that going for us.

I've learned to live with baw. It's just a part of reality I've had to accept if I'm to ever go to the OT.

I don't think I've ever personally used it on here.

Solid observation, though.

When you order a steak at a restaurant, do you eat the solid that comes with it before, after, or while you eat your steak?

Difficult to call a thread "solid" if it doesn't at least go 3 or 4 pages.

What am I missing?

I'd say "popcorn flick" is the most overused and nauseating thing constantly posted here

I used to downvote every post that used baw, wherever I saw it. I gave that up after a year or so and admitted defeat.

"popcorn flick"
I've advocated creation of a time machine to go back in time to kill the marketing jackwagon that came up with that term.

A shitty film is just that. shitty. No amount of popcorn somehow makes it better that I paid $30.00 for a shitty movie.

People who repeatedly use "solid" and/or "pretentious" to judge any kind of artistic work are always immediately suspect.
