The 1932 Scarface had a Yiddish speaking Austro-Hungarian playing a Italian, the 1983 Scarface had an Italian American playing a Cuban, so naturally the 2018 Scarface should have the Mexican playing a transgender South Korean.

The community is going to eat this shite up. Ask any black guy his top 5 movies. Training Day and Scarface will be 2 of the 5.
The only real issue I see with remaking the movie is so many movies after Scarface copied elements from the story. It's like it has been remade 10x over.

This movie wasn't even very good. Didn't it bomb at the box office. I thought it just became a cult favorite later more for comic relief in regards to Pacino's accent and demeanor.
