Is this the spoiler/comics thread or the regular thread?
Skimmed the last page and saw that Enigma (shocker) posted comics shite, but didn't know if it was spoilerish or not.

Nah, it's not spoilerish, it's from the last episode.

and how did they bring down the chopper?

Yeah, sure looked like it.

Watching it again, notice how docile Michonne's walkers were until other walkers came around. I see they served a purpose as both mule and dogs
It almost seemed to me that they were freaking out because the other survivors. After the last zombie past and got killed they were still acting weird.

Dear Santa,
Please give the governor another aquarium for Christmas, so he can put Lori's head in it.
thanks,
fbb
p.s. and one for Carl, too.

Mechanical problems. The pilot said so.

I LOVE the way the Governor is portrayed. His southern charm yet secretly sadistic side is going to make him such a great and unpredictable character.

ah...I assumed they had something to do with it. They got there pretty quickly for a group that doesn't leave its walls very often

hell no. He doesn't listen and is a danger to them all.

This was the only thing that bothered me last night. I can see being a little skeptical of new people but when they bring you in, treat you, feed you, and give you a place to stay you would think you would be a little happy about it considering how you've been leaving for a few years now.
And this governor guy is a new interesting character. I understand his plan to kill the national guard to steal their supplies. Dont know why he had the pilot's head in an aquarium though. Very odd

It was just the comics page of the final scene from last night. Enigma's been well behaved this season. So far.

If someone treats me like this in a zombie apocalypse I would probably be skeptical, too. How many people have Rick and the Gang brought in from the cold with open arms since the start of the series?

Cool, thanks.
Just skimmed the last page to see if anyone was mad about spoilers and I saw that comic page, so I wanted to be sure. Guess I can read the thread now..
As for last night, I'm torn on the episode. I did like it, but I'm not sure how much I give a frick about people who aren't in the main group of characters that we know and love (and tolerate). I realize that this sets up future shite, so I get that, but still...I don't like a TWD episode that doesn't even show Rick and them.
I did like the community though...at first I was thinking that Michonne and Andrea may be looked upon as some sort of sex slave scenario or whatever, but the community seems pretty normal and has a good mix of people.
Something is definitely up with the tea. That dude is weird.
I like the Governor. Interested to see his character develop some more.
Michonne sucked this episode, but she likely will have the correct response to all of this. Skepticism is prolly the best way to go since things that seem too good to be true usually are.
I also think my feelings toward this episode hinge a bit upon the fact that I don't really give a frick about Andrea or Michonne at all. So I was kinda indifferent to plots that surround just those two.
Still enjoyed the episode though.
ETA: Oh yeah, and fricking Merle finally. Good to have him back...interested as frick to see how he affects things, and I can't wait to see he and Darryl reunite (adn Darryl eventually kill him...I'm still going with that ).

An egomaniacal murderous dictator? Interesting choice.
Michonne an awful character so far. No one is that one-dimensional. Even (especially) if she doesn't trust them b/c of her experience, the way she is acting is stupid. The show needs a lone-wolf good guy, and Michonne could have been it.
One thing I do appreciate about the governors group is that they are smarter at dealing with zombies than Ricks group is.

He seems power hungry, maniacal, and ruthless, but with a side that the general public sees as charming and protective. So... perfect symbol of a politician.

They definitely hadn't done enough to introduce Michonne for us to really care about her for an entire hour.
I thought it was a good episode, though, it moved quickly. I was surprised it was over when it finished.
It's obvious the Gov wants complete control and not just survival, otherwise he wouldn't have massacred the military guys. I still am anxious to see who that was watching Carol and who is fricking with them at the prison. I guess it's possible it's someone from Woodbury, but I doubt it. I've been wracking my brain to think about if there was another survivor that was left behind or that the group crossed paths with that would want revenge, or if it will just be someone we haven't met yet.

How so? I didn't really notice anything other than Gay Igor experimenting that would make me think they're that much better at dealing with them.
They're more advanced with respect to defenses they've set up, but they've been in one place longer, so they had an advantage there. Tactically, Rick's group is on par as far as killing them goes.

It seems like Woodbury would have to be a decent distance away from them or they'd have found it during those 8 months or so they were pillaging and getting really good at killing zombies.
I'm thinking someone new, unless the black dude that Rick locked outside managed to escape after all and it's him.
