Yep, I was really hoping they ended the episode with either the kid being attacked, the arm chop, or the eye shot. Obviously episode 9 will be intense, but it's left a lot viewers irritated... oh well frick em.
Everybody that was a comic reader saw that hatchet being used on the door... and was like....... it's happening.

I have also always pronounced it NAYgun.
I'm pretty sure Carl is safe now. No way the baby dies and I don't see any way the baby could survive Carl getting shot and falling on her.
ETA: Actually, now that I think about it, I'm sure Carl gets shot. Rick cuts off what's-her-name's hand to save everyone else, her son pulls her loaded gun, Carl gets shot.
How does Judith survive? Will they kill off the baby?

I wish they would have just showed the kid getting grabbed and Rick having to cut off the arm and all. That would have been a much better ending.
