Now, that would be a good song choice for Nicholas. However, he doesn't seem to be willing to leave his comfort zone on any song. He needs to do that. I'd like to see him bring that song on home.

Decent show last night. Cassadee seems to be building up a pretty big lead. Her pairing with Blake is paying off big time. My top 3 from last night would be Cass, Terry and Nicholas. Wasn't a fan of Trevin (I dont really like that song though). Interesting to see who goes home tonight.

Does anybody else not want to hear this information before watching the show? I mean, it's basically posting spoilers that are more than likely to come true. Maybe it's just me, and I know it happens every week that the iTunes numbers are discussed, but it makes watching the show almost useless.

Also, my thoughts on last ngiht..

Trevin was pretty bad. He did okay, but not very good. And of course it's another chick song. I'm just tired of it. And on top of all that, he sounded bad...he was screaming instead of singing. He sounded tone-deaf toward the end of that song.

Oh, and Christina, you used to sing that song? Cool. Thanks for letting us know...we were all wondering if you did, and I'm so glad that you took the time and spotlight away from Trevin to explain to us how often you used to sing that fricking song. So thanks for that. No, seriously, you ignorant slut, we appreciate it.

Nicholas was good, but I was meh on the song. I hope it doesn't hurt him.

Cassadee Pope looked awesome, and sounded even better...best of the night IMO. I agree that she's starting to run away with this thing.

Terry did well. Awesome song choice, and he sounded just like McCartney at the beginning of that song.

Based on last night, I'd rank them:

I hope Trevin goes home, but I fear it could be Nick.

I pretty much agree with everything you say after every show. I wish they would let Mrs Piggie carry her arse. She is such a spotlight cockblock. She cant stand to see someone getting attention. If I could kick someone in the face and get away with it, It would be that ugly bitch.

Didn't realize that. I don't watch the results show for anything other than who is saved. I FFWD through everything else. So even though I'd still like to not know to make it more interesting for me seeing the results, it's no big deal. I can just avoid this thread on Tuesdays to not see iTunes stats.

The finale is next week. It will be a three person finale. Hopefully they will do original songs.

I'm pretty shocked folks drop $1.29 on a recording from the live show. I've never checked before until today. I always assumed they did studio versions like Idol (which are still shocking at $1.29.)

To add to the conversation here, I'd agree that Cassadee is getting stronger every week. I'm a big fan of Urban's "Stupid Boy" and she did a great job with it. My only complaint was the background singers who were too loud and honestly weren't needed.
