Anyone seen this movie?
I caught it on HBO a little while back and I enjoyed it. Fun little story I thought. Could have just been the mood I was in.
Thought Kristin Wiig looked pretty hot too, which is something I go back and forth on
all in all, a solid popcorn flick IMO

I enjoyed it, really. I think the music they used really helped a lot too, can be a very underrated part of a movie.
Definitely gave me a bit of wanderlust.
ETA: And made me want to throw on an Arcade Fire record.

Went in with zero expectations but really enjoyed it.

yeah, it was pretty good. I was expecting a totally different kind of movie, but it's premise was well done.

I was flipping channels and it had just started so I decided to leave it on. Very fun watch

Had it on in the background when I was travelling and working. Seemed enjoyable, I want to see it from start to finish.

i'd definitely recommend it

Really enjoyed it. Agree with OP on Kristen Wiig, she looked great and the music definitely set the perfect tone.

the music really was fantastic

How was it compared to Forrest Gump? I remember the marketing for it said something like it was the next FG, or some such shite.

Wait, what?!
I have no idea how they could be compared. Other than being feel good stories, there is nothing that places these two movies in the same discussion

I liked it well enough. The movie looked gorgeous, with the cinematography. The soundtrack was good. Some of the fantasy scenes were great, like the one of Wiig singing "Space Oddity". Sean Penn and Adam Scott were money in it.
Walter Mitty was really a good cool guy, he was stuck in his head too much.

I was not expecting much but ended up really liking it.
The dream sequences were good at first but were starting to go overboard, but then stopped.

It was a good movie and to see the progression of fantasy to reality and why he was in fantasy was great. I didn't expect a great movie, so I got a good enjoyable movie.

Didn't deserve to get panned by critics. Not award-worthy by any means, but it was one of the more enjoyable films I've seen in the past few years. Beautifully shot (bought it on Blu-Ray when it came out), great soundtrack. Jose Gonzalez is the man.

I'm surprised by everyone's responses. I completely disagree. I thought it was the most boring movie I have ever seen. Kinda wish I didn't waste my time to see it.

I thought it was great. I saw it in theaters and the scenery and music were amazing. Stiller did a really good job.
Kristen Wigg didn't totally annoy the hell out of me either although I would have been okay with a different actress. I thought the antagonist was a little forced and could have been eliminated from the story completely.
Spoilers below
Like did anyone not know the negative was in his wallet?

Watching the movie is worth it for this scene alone.
damnit, i can't find the right clip, but it's the one where she comes out in the coffee shop with the acoustic guitar and sings Space Oddity.
