Yes that is what we're telling you.

frick GT.

Exremly excited about the new series.

Hopefully it sparks new interest in the world of DBZ.

I WANT A JUSTIFIABLE LIVE ACTION MOVIE.

I want HBO to pick it up an do each saga in a different season as a multi part series.

Netflix might be the perfect place for this as well.

In fact, I'm going to email netflix now.

I can never forgive GT for that scene.

It actually wasn't that bad in the Japanese version.

I'm probably the only one who liked the first 15 or so episodes of GT because it was much more like DB (probably wouldn't feel the same way if I'd watched it dubbed).

First off, settle down.

Second off, they already did a live action movie and it was God awful.

And finally, the para para brothers are the best.

no they didn't.

If they made a live action movie actually using the source material and staying true to it, it would be great.

Same with The Last Airbender. If you just fricking stick with the source material, you have the movie already written.

I know all of us fan boys would really enjoy them sticking to the story for a live action movie but we've already watched/read those stories. I want new adventures, the ones they chose for the movie didn't work.

It could be done better absolutely, but I would love more episodes which is exactly what we're getting.

You know directors aren't going to do that. They want to leave their legacy on the movie.

Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope

This short low budget clip complete stomps Dragonball: Evolution. I don't understand why so many people Hollywood like to drift so far from the source material.

Machinima's Mortal Kombat legacy and Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist (removed from youtube after being released on DVD) are also example of lower budget films that destroy their Hollywood counter part simply because they stick to the source material.

Netflix should just give them a couple million and ask for the test of the episodes for that arch.

I'd settle for a really good CGI movie series. No need for live action.

I have to agree... i feel like live action DBZ will always feel kind of cheesy because you just can't recreate DBZ effects with real people.

Did you watch the fan made "light of hope"? They did a phenomenal job with almost no budget. It honestly amazing. Give a cgi department 100 million dollars and a director who cares about the source material and you'd have an amazing movie. The effects aren't that hard to replicate most of the fighting is high speed collisions and you only have to have big effects during finishing moves.
