There is a dip in quality, but there are still some classic post Michael episodes.

Good moments but mostly bad episodes. Season 9 is an abortion.

I think the best season 9 moments are when they began to make Dwight a real leader and less baffonish. It was also really good when they would show that Dwight really wanted Jim to like him and think he was cool.

I enjoyed the episode arc in Tallahassee. A lot of the rest is hard to watch. The writers had no clue what direction to take the show in after Michael left.

Not nearly as bad as a lot of people want to make it seem.

Yeah you're being dramatic which is tiresome on the board. Even without Michael it was funnier than most shows. It just couldn't maintain the high bar it set for itself.

I must be the minority because I just can't get into it. I'm gonna finish because I'm already to invested

It's obvioulsy not as good as with Michael Scott. It's not THAT bad though IMO. I think the episodes with Michael are just so great that its impossible to meet the fans expectations without him.

I had a glimmer of hope when Pam encountered that other manager who was just like Michael. Alas, he didn't stay long.

The finale is really good at least.

The finale and few episodes leading up to the end are very good. The storyline with Andy was terrible though.

This has become the cool thing to say about the show, but it's nowhere near true. If you truly love the show, then season nine should be solid to you IMO. I can understand the dip after Michael left, and some of those episodes were pretty had admittedly. But season nine, although there are some misses (like Pam for example) there is still some really quality TV left on the show. And the finale/last few are great.

And I give them somewhat of a pass on Andy. Yes, some of it was stupid as hell, but they also had to work around his movie schedule, which couldn't have been easy to do/write.

They tried to pump up Andy due to Ed Helms becoming so popular. Andys character wasn't meant for that much screen time though. I really struggled with the second to last season. The last season was great for me though. Finale was as close to perfect as it gets.

This. The last seasons were good, but they turned Andy into a horrible character. He was never meant for that. And the only reason they did it was to make sure they weren't blowing their load making Dwight manager until the very end.

They ruined Andy's character, but season 9 was a solid season overall. the finale is one of the best of any show, IMO.

It definitely went downhill after he left. There are a few high points but not many. At least the finale was pretty awesome.
