Somehow, someway, Freddy is going to screw him over. Trailer for Episode 8 (Freddy looking at him) I think he may be trying to get that murder pinned on him or at least have it known that he helped out. I also don't think its the Step Dad or Naz at this point who killed Andrea, due to there being another murder that looks exactly the same and Naz is in prison. Step dad has no reason to butcher another girl. Naz is going to stay in prison or get killed either way though IMO

I think there may be a good chance that Stone did it. That obscure ending with him chasing Duane Reid in the alley...it had to be intentional that they didn't follow up on it. The writers want us to believe that Stone could tell that Trevor was lying when he watched Box's interview, but Stone already knew that he was with someone else, because he saw the whole altercation from inside Andrea's apartment. Stone kills Andrea, and is seen by Duane scaling down the tree. Duane asks him wtf he is doing, then sees his grotesque feet, and flees.

All of this will be revealed after Naz is found guilty, and the last scene will show what happened after Stone chased Duane in the alley - Stone pummeling Duane with that pipe / lug nut wrench.

Nas told him there were 2 guys and he went back and watched the tape and Bodie said it was one guy.

That is how he found out.

What would be Stone's motive?

Jealousy because he's fricking a nasty fat black hooker or maybe it was all part of a plan to land a spot in a big trial. I don't think he did it though.

It's a ridiculous theory but here is the motive if Stone was the killer
quote:

Stone is the killer. In murder shows, you always see the killer in the first episode, this just happens to be Stone.

Here are some examples as to why JS is the killer.

1. JS knew Andrea from representing her. She owed him money that he turned in for sex. That night, she had Naz with her and JS killed her for it. This is evidenced in another episode where JS sleeps with his client.

2. JS kept the cat as a trophy. This is his reward for killing Andrea. He took it in to be held to see if police needed it. When no, he claimed the cat as his.

3. JS is playing cover-up. He took a deep interest in Naz's predicament because he caused it and even advised Naz to "shut it." JS noticed Naz from the the Night of murder and took the case to be much closer in the investigation. Remember, JS charges $250 down, but only collects on about 50-60% of his owed billings. One specific instance in where JS is covering up his own murder is when he approaches Duane Reade in the back of the convenience store. Duane saw him the Night Of the murder. When DR sees JS, he runs because he knows JS was the killer and that he is there to kill him as well. This is evident in the chase sequence and the fact that JS is wearing surgical gloves to hide his fingerprints. He also wears surgical gloves when he speaks with Trevor at the laundromat. JS also advised Naz to eventually take the plea deal that was offered just before Naz claimed he did not do it. JS knew that if he accepted the plea deal, this would all go away. JS has been snooping around trying to craft other avenues of who did just by trying to connect stories like Andrea's step-father/financial advisor or Duane Reede. This is simply misdirection as JS is the actual killer and is trying to find a back-up plan.

4. JS and his feet. Maybe karma for the bad things he has done. Just a small connection, a trip to the beach can heal eczema.

5. JS hired a CSI investigator for a "flat rate." The "squirrels blood" that was found outside could have been JS.

6. JS knows Freddy or is coercing Freddy into making Naz look as bad as possible in jail. This will aide in the conviction of Naz or Naz will do something entirely different to get stay in jail for a long time. Freddy is getting directions from someone, and I haven't put any connection down besides JS has bet on sports and maybe knows Freddy from that capacity.

There are a couple other things you can sit and point out that connect JS to the murder. As much as I don't want to believe JS did, this show is designed to make JS very sympathized figure. This misdirection could lead to a massive payoff in the end. Episode 6 was the prosecution, Episode 7 is the defense, and Episode 8 is the truth.

Holy Crackpot this thread has gone to shite.

The most logical explanation of Andrea's murder is the step-dad hired someone to kill Andrea...possibly Duane Reede, possibly creepy funeral home guy, possibly both and frame Naz for the murder.

Step-dad knows Adrea fricks around with random dudes with drugs and is into self mutilation. Step-dad hires creepy funeral director to keep an eye on Andrea and wait for the right patsy (Naz). Creepy funeral director calls his hitman "Duane Reede" to tell him tonight is the night after he sees Naz and Andrea at the gas station. Duane Reed is in the house before the murder and spikes the drugs and/or alcohol to knock both Andrea and Naz out so he can set up the crime scene properly framing Naz.

That's my theory on what happened. This would tie almost everything together.

What if the CPA was Andrea's ex (since he interacted with her and her mom) and he knew about the money the stepdad would get if she were to die. Maybe planned the murder and see she's with Naz. This would be a reason for crime of passion and her being stabbed 22 times.

He would have also known the house was worth $10M or more and made a bigger stink with Box not looking into it.

He brought the cat to the animal shelter where anyone could come in an adopt the cat. If he wanted a trophy, why would he risk someone getting the cat?

Stone was at the lockup shortly after Naz got there. It's safe to say that Stone would have been covered in blood from stabbing Andrea 22 times; he would have had to go home and clean up and then rush to the police station hoping they caught Naz (remember: Naz was picked up on a traffic stop away from the scene of the crime and sat in the patrol car the whole time the cops were in the house).

quote:

4. JS and his feet. Maybe karma for the bad things he has done. Just a small connection, a trip to the beach can heal eczema.

Maybe the rotten feet issue and how Stone showed indifference to how others avoided him was to show that Stone marches to the beat of a different drummer.

quote:

5. JS hired a CSI investigator for a "flat rate." The "squirrels blood" that was found outside could have been JS.

If Stone did it, why would he ever hire Dr. Katz, a nationally known forensic pathologist, to investigate a crime he committed. Common sense tells me he would hire someone who has a questionable reputation to throw the ADA a softball.

This will aide in the conviction of Naz or Naz will do something entirely different to get stay in jail for a long time. If Stone has that much influence with Freddie, why wouldn't he just have Freddie slice Naz's throat in prison? We know he's capable of doing it.

Yeah, no. It doesn't fit and seems dumb.

The blood on the leaves (which would have been brought up with Katz if it was going to be brought up at all)?

It's nail polish bruh, the same color as Andera's toes.
