Everybody glosses over Gosling's Shemp Howard impression when he finds the body and can't find the breath to scream.

Nerdwriter1's breakdown of Violence in Movies and why Shane Black is the best at it.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is better, but the Nice Guys is so good. Gosling's ?punch through the glass is hilarious.

Favorite comedy of at least the past 3 years. One of a few I laugh equally hard at every time I watch it. The scene with Crowe breaking Gosling's arm is hysterical.

Yes this and the afore mentioned Kiss Kiss Bang Bang are outstanding comedies with great writing and acting.

I wish Shane Black would do more things like this and KKBB instead of Hollywood blockbusters

There was some INCREDIBLY convenient stuff to advance the plot, but I still enjoyed it. Gosling and Crowe's chemistry was great. Gosling's daughter did a great job, too.

Just like KKBB.

His plot lines almost rely on the supernatural, but its in such a palatable format. I love these flicks from him.

The stall scene

I know he doesn't have Leo's range, but Gosling has become my top movie star for today. The dude just kills in everything.

And I also say that while he probably doesn't have Leo's range, the dude's acting chops are no joke. For the same actor to be able to do movies like Drive, Nice Guys, and La La Land is damn impressive.

"Don't say 'Anal and stuff', just say Anal".

Loved the movie... This is one time I left the movie hoping for a sequel. Would love them to solve a case circa 1983 - 85.
