Anyone else go see it over the weekend? I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of Gravity but better. Good comedy mixed in. I also found it somewhat inspiring.

Thanks. I don't get the point of having the search thread option on this website. It never works. I tried searching for The Martian and nothing came up. Figured a thread was started somewhere.

Yeah, it sucks. I searched "the martian" and nothing came up either, but then searched "martian" and found a few threads.
FYI, try using the google search...that usually finds what I'm looking for (although it's still hit or miss at times too).

I saw it last Wednesday. The poster on page 1 of the other thread is right. The humor was awful. I don't think Damon is to blame for it, though. The writing was just terrible.
Great concept and story very poorly written. Also, I guess I'm going to pick on Kristen Wiig again, but I have no idea what function her character served. The NASA PR person didn't add anything at all to the story.
