My only problem with the episode was leaving Darth Obama alive.

That wasn’t mark hamill’s present day voice. His voice has been ravaged by 45+ years of smoking.

Other than that it was amazing.

Yeah they can give us that weak arse story after all this. Luke has been redeemed. There has got to be a way forward where the sequel trilogy is not canon. It cannot stand. But how do they accomplish that?

The Ahsoka show logo looked a lot like the world between worlds.

That offers a lot of opportunity to make a surgical cut and split off a new, better timeline.

Just shows you how incompetent the team that created the sequels were.

We got more in 45 minutes than we ever did in this recent trilogy.

Not only that but this is how you create a bad arse female gang. What Endgame did was laughable and eye roll worthy. I didn’t even realize the crew was all female until they got to the bridge and it’s bc Filoni and Favreau put in the time to flesh out these CHARACTERS. Gender be damned.

I want my entertainment to be... you know... entertaining. I was never really entertained by the Sequels. The first was meh at best, the other two were actively offensive.

This show in general, and this episode in particular, entertained the hell out of me. After the horrible way they treated Luke's character in the sequels (complete with Mark Hamill giving a thousand yard stare of horror during the promotional work) just a few minutes of Luke absolutely walking the dog on the Dark Troopers was golden.

Ah... its going to be a long wait.

That was awesome. Similar but different. Maybe intentionally, but luke was slower and more methodical - business like. Pops had hate in every move - you could feel the evil.

I underlined that portion because that was about the exact time it hit me as well. It was "oh... this is an all-female team" followed closely by "it makes sense why it is so it doesn't matter" and the entertainment continued.

That's how you fricking do it.

The Luke CGI... It's noticeable if you want it to be, but not obnoxiously so. It's definitely not Kurt Russell GoTG 2 good but it was good enough to not detract from the awesomeness of the scene of LUKE frickING SKYWALKER IN HIS PRIME!!!

Damned strong. Why Disney does not have Favreau running everything I just don't know.

Not sure how we get any better TV than what I just witnessed.

It was the pure theatre Star Wars injected into many many people decades ago.

I watched the last two eps at once. I did it on purpose so I didn't have to wait and it felt like one seamless movie. What a fantastic show!

That would be a way to do it, without Disney disavowing the sequels. My preference would for them to carry on as if the sequels never happened. Just release Star Wars Episode VII: New Jedi Order. And when some nerd reporter asks what happened to The Force Awakens reply, "we don't know what you are talking about."

Those last 15 minutes certainly did homage to the OG trilogy more so than anything Star Wars, not animated, has ever done since in my estimation.

Yea I definitely don't like a soft reboot as much because that is kind of like Disney saying "frick you guys...the original sequels were still good because they made billions of dollars".

It does and far exceeds. Star wars erection might cause me to go to the doctor for it lasting more than 4 hours

It’s not often I’m literally on the edge of my seat but when that fricking x-wing appeared I was mere inches from falling on my arse. I was like a school girl when they revealed the color of the saber. Doing it black and white to start was genius.

The guy who just started that SECRET JEDI MASTER thread is a dick for posting that. Love how these dipshits insist on spoiling shows as soon as they're released.
