So you guys think they are going to keep her name, but make her a completely different character than she is in the comics? Hows that work?

I didn't think they'd do it but I have to concede now. They've pretty much flat out said that's where she's headed.

I'm guessing Felicity won't be Lisa only because, Lisa is a pretty integral part of every version of Captains Cold character arc. I doubt Lisa would be a main character in Arrow and not Flash.

She is an archer, but also a swordsman when she becomes Tigress in the comics. But yeah, she would have to go into training under Oliver before taking either of those mantels.
We know that her flashback episode this coming season will be titled "Oracle", but we also know that she is in no way, shape, or form going to be tied to Barbara Gordon. So maybe the whole "computer nerd" aspect is just the beginning of her evolution into a hero. This is a show about origins after all.
I love how the showrunners use the comics just enough to peak our interest, but change up the characters enough to throw us off on being able to pinpoint what direction they're taking them.

unless they just ignore that as they have done with other characters. or she changed her name to get away from her father. idk. its just a shot in the dark. it seems to make sense and like bamatab said, plays as a foil to "oracle" (who is barbra gordan, yet seems to be playing towards Felicity).
either way, hopefully the flashback gives us some clues.
