No, no. Another movie I was offended by. The la- I mean Hollywood is crazy. The Last Samurai, staring Tom Cruise. He's the last samurai? I mean give me a break. That movie was offensive. I, mean, Hollywood is crazy. First they have The Mexican with Brad Pitt, and now they've got The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise. Well, I've written a film. Maybe they'll produce my film, The Last **** on Earth, staring Tom Hanks. How bout that?

It's based on a true story written by the journalist guy that Tom Cruse's character hands the diary to. That stuff may have been slightly dramatized, but it happened.

I've always felt the most memorable scene for me was the conversation he had with Higen before the final battle.

Great score too.

Score is absolutely phenomenal. Definitely one of my most underrated moments. Lots of really well done scenes and dialogue.

The cinematography is simply breathtaking. All of the simple moments are just so exceptionally well shot, it keeps you engaged even in the slow parts. Every scene is just insanely beautiful.

If you think Tom cruise was supposed to be the Last Samurai, you obviously didn't understand the fricking movie.

I see now you are joking. But I ain't retracting shite because you made me type out this response in the first place.

It is actually based on a true story...but there was no american in the final battle.

Also, the samurai had guns and cannons. They were just woefully outnumbered. I think it was 60,000 to 10,000 or so.

He's saying the 500 Samurai killed 15,000 of the 30,000 army in the battle.

I figured that's what he was trying to say, but his attempts at English in that post were woefully bad.

Huh??????

How'd you get that.

The samurai killed 30 people in the battle.

The Japanese army killed every Samurai there.
