I ran across this series today and was a huge fan of the books from Bernard Cromwell. I just finished the first episode and it was pretty good. I've been hoping for them to make this show for a long time. Hopefully it stays true to the books. Is anyone else watching?

It has the Game of Throne feel to it but because IT is on BBC it won't be as good. Those grim sword series NEED to be uncensored like game of thrones.

Really like it, actually prefer it over Vikings. Haven't checked out the books yet.

I liked the books then watched the series.
The TV show was so good I watched it again with my wife a month later.
Good news- there will be a season two.
Bad news - as of last January they have not started shooting so it may be awhile.
