The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden

Caught this documentary on Netflix last night, pretty crazy story. Basically a couple of German families set up camp on one of the islands shortly before the WWI, intending to live a "Swiss Family Robinson" type existence, when this eccentric woman claiming to be a French baroness arrives with her cuckold husband and strapping young lover.

I don't want to give away what happens, but the story sounds so incredible I was having a hard time believing such a fantastic story could be anything other than fiction.

Throughout the film passages from their diaries are narrarated and the ancestors of these families (some of whom were alive at the time) give interviews.

Very interesting story.
