We're 10 minutes away and she's running out of air, but lets be sure to obey the speed limit.
Eta: dammit, someone else get in here and make fun of the show with me.

This exactly
You have the entire task force just on edge ready to deploy to find one of their own.
Who beats them to the location? 2 agents driving the speed limit. This FBI would still be searching Wrigley Field for the Boston Bombers.

Nah, but they would have Atlanta on lockdown after hearing the Braves franchise moved there.

Someone take me out back and shoot me for knowing this
It's Ryan's ex. Another cult follower they showed a few weeks ago. She's chapped at Ryan since he didn't wub her.
She's also his neighbor so that can somehow explain that she was already in apt... I guess?
What a stupid fricking show with horrible writing.

The things I'm screwed up about is I thought that the neighbor chick and that place were in NYC. I could have sworn that was his apartment in NYC. Maybe the lighthouse was near NYC, but you would think they would have flown directly to DC to be reunited with Joey.
What a stupid fricking ending. Also, why didn't coffin chick simply pull up Google fricking Maps and find a location either through GPS or network. If she is getting service there has to be a goddamn cell tower nearby. It wasn't one of those fancy satellite phones, it was a smartphone. They should have left her a shitty burner phone to make it more believable to us.

Everyone's hitting the high(low) points.
FBI team being dispacthed to find Parker, only to never fricking show up, even after the 2 hero agents casually drive across state at the speed limit to find her, dig her up, kill the suspect and stand around and have a cigarette.
Hardy somehow getting his hands free.
For that matter, Claire getting her hands free.
If Joe is still alive, I cannot wait for the writers' explanation how he faked the DNA and dental records that was supposedly matched last night. (Forensic FBI agent cult member!)
What mom in history, besides bitches like Casey Anthony would NOT want to see their son immediately? Nope, let's go to Ryan's seedy NYC apartment for some takeout and a shower.
The neighbor chick being in the apartment is somewhat ok, because she had a key, as shown in a pervious episode. BUT, yet AGAIN, the FBI does NOT even do a cursory check on the apartment/house they are supposed to be guarding.
And...the whole sex video of her and Ryan was what? Just for Joe to get off on? Maybe Joe was a flaming homo, with a thing for Ryan.
I thought he was for sure going to show Claire that at the lighthouse in front of him.
One more thought...this whole thing. This whole story he was writing...was supposed to be about Ryan. But every episode almost, he could have and almost, got killed. What if one of the cultists killed him in episode 2? Then what?
Oh, and my biggest gripe. The millionth time that the cult tells Ryan "Come alone." And he does.
Claire is that special. "Never mind the serial killer and dozen or so other ones out there that we can catch. I am just gonna go blind and unarmed, so I can get Claire."
I digress.

Holy shite what a terrible finale. That was fricking painful to watch. Lot of these will be repeat comments but they deserve repeating:
- So FBI chick didnt notice that there was a phone in the coffin with her until it rang? I guess she was lying perfectly still. And how about this, when you call the number, TRACK THE frickING SIGNAL!!!! My god it is so stupidly frustrating. I think I would rather a man show up at my door every Monday night and just call me an idiot over how insulting this show is to the audience's collective intelligence. That was a regular phone. They use towers. You can find it.
- Ocean front property now. This cult has some serious OT ballers in it.
- I love how Claire woke up in the house by the lighthouse not knowing where she was. Getting some deep slumber while your serial killer ex husband takes you away to be murdered? Seriously, how did she get moved into the house from the boat all while in a deep sleep and continue to get her beauty sleep throughout the night? Unless she was drugged that small scene of her doing that might have been the most contrived and idiotic scene to date. Either that or Joe just kept telling her to calm down.
- Ladies and gentlemen, the world's worst sniper
- Eye gouge. Nice.
- Limited oxygen suppply in the coffin, let's keep her on the phone though
- How are Hardy and Weston the first (and only) two there? Then they dig her up, attempt CPR for 5 seconds (I love Hollywood CPR), shoot the bad guy, have a brief standoff, and STILL NOBODY ELSE HAS SHOWN UP.
- The dialogue exchange between Hardy and Joe in the house was fricking terrible. I was expecting Joe to start crying after Hardy bad mouthed Poe.
- That's a lot of gasoline in that boat house
- Do we have the entire cult in custody? Nope. Where she we take the person they most want to kill in Claire? Hardy's apartment. One agent outside should suffice, correct? Correct.
- Who is this chick in Mobile and why am I looking at her?
- How did that chick get in his apartment? If they have another secret entrance through the closet like in the series premiere that would be great. And why is she not arrested yet? Did they not search through all of the evidence on Joe's computer and see her sex tapes with him? That would at least warrant some questioning in my mind.
- And I guess nobody asked any questions about the cuffed suspect by the coffin with the bullet hole in his head? Ummmmmm, yeah.
And again the worst part of last night was all this tension they are trying to build, but it's not there because I dont give a shite about one single character in this show. They actually "killed off" the most interesting one.

There was no point to that sex tape. Joe just used it for his personal spank bank. The only thing I enjoyed about that finale was the ending and the facial expression of Claire when she got stabbed and Ryan shooting that tool point blank in the head. But yes it would've been better to bury him alive.
And pretty sure Ryan killed at least one person per episode. I love how he left Weston in the woods to deal with the paper work of two dead bodies and explanation of the dead suspect.

Yes! Dude had all the time in the world, all the element of surprise, and can't hit one person.

I know I got pissed off because Poe is one of my all time favorite authors. I wanted to kill Hardy just for that myself.

I was pulling for Jacob. I really thought he would end up betraying Joe/Emma and fricking up their shite.
Oh well.

Momma wanted the D. She has her priorities I guess

True.
I guess she wasn't TOO traumatized to say no to the D.

I thought that they alluded to it not being the same day when they read on the news that it was confirmed. That made me think it was at least a day later. Were they wearing the same clothes?
Posted on 4/30/13 at 9:15 am to White Shadeaux
I know it's a trivial error but after Ryan shoots near Westins feet to sway him from following, the slide on ethe gun was locked to the rear: thus gun was empty. Smh.
Posted on 4/30/13 at 9:27 am to LE610N
With all the other major plot holes, retarded writing...you're gonna hold them to accurate gun action depiction?

Hyup. Kinda a gun nut so that stuff gets me every time.

Emma.
I did not recognize her at all looking like an actual girl I figured they were introducing us to a new follower that would kick things off next season.
Posted on 4/30/13 at 9:46 am to TigerinATL
And if Emma had time to get to mobile by the time the news broke, than that must have been days after the explosion and shite.
Posted on 4/30/13 at 9:59 am to guedeaux
Even if it were days after, Hardy said at the scene that he was taking her to his apartment. So she went straight there and stayed there. No Joey. Even better.
Posted on 4/30/13 at 10:21 am to etm512
Next season we will find out that this entire season was in fact Joe's novel and that he is still alive and on death row. None of this season really actually happened. This will explain the absurdity of the events of season one. His novel will be published setting off a chain of events during which a real copycat cult terrorizes Hardy and Claire who are happily married and raising little Joey. Hardy will seek Joe's help in stopping the cult a la Silence of the Lambs.
Posted on 4/30/13 at 10:24 am to TheFolker
That would make a lot of sense, because early on they did talk about how Joe was a shitty writer.
