The show we love to hate is back!!!

FBI and overall general law enforcement incompetence...check.

I'm in the cult, you're in the cult, we're all in the cult.

Season 3 Preview

I hate this show so much. How did it get a third season? I didn't even finish last season. I gave up after the cult members went to another cult and then outculted them.

Okay, that premiere met all my expectations.

Angry waiter walks right through group of FBI agents to throw blood on our lesbian brides and Hardy. Did none of the "highly trained" agents think that guy was suspicious? Perhaps Hardy's new girl might have mentioned something about the creepy guy who cornered her on the balcony (more on her later).

Hollywood agenda in full effect early on: gay wedding and both Hardys in interracial relationships (don't get me wrong, she's hot and I'd hit it ).

Poor cult guy lost his family and has developed the lamest case of multiple personalities ever (fyi, it's now called Dissociative Identity Disorder).

Hardy and friends go to art event expecting there to be cult members there. They have the foresight to bring plenty of FBI and NYPD backup. Hardy chases suspect down dark hallway by himself.

I'll place the O/U at 3 episodes before Joe Carroll escapes from death row.

And now back to Hardy's new girl. She's got to be in the cult.

I guess everyone is now off the Following Hate Train.

I don't think it's worth watching unless there is a group to mock the show with.

Lamest rip off of Gollum in a tv show. I half expected him to say "Precious" at some point.

I love Hardy screaming, "FBI, don't panic!!" as he runs through the crowd waving a gun. On that note, deja vu, or just me? Seems like they always run wildly through a crowd like that and lose the cultists, instead of maybe...perhaps, blocking all exits, and having some sort of plan?

Agreed. Either her, or Max's boyfriend.

IN ON THIS BITCH

- Love the congressional hearing on Hardy. They had no credible evidence? What? How about the small village of dead bodies and the fact that he was technically a civilian consultant all of last season. No? Ok

- The first murder of the show with the threesome - while the guy's wife was the coolest wife ever, I still don't get the plan. The killer was hanging out in a hotel bar hoping/knowing that a married couple would approach her for a threeway on their anniversary so they could kill both and stage the bodies? Seems like an airtight plan

- I like how Max went from rogue NYPD computer expert to full on FBI agent in less than a year

- And as mentioned, somehow Hardy is the only guy who chases down the waiter and has a fight with him for a good 30 seconds before anyone else shows up

- I guess they aren't going to bother with trying Joe for all the other murders he committed last season?

Off to a good start. I will say even for this show Mark as the villain is really lame

Wow....good points I had totally forgotten.

The hearing. Murder trials regularly get congressional hearings right?
And like you said...proof is in the trail of dead bodies. Like you said, Hardy was a civilian consultant last season. That always bothered me how he went around in that capacity, guns blazing. Did he suddenly get hired full time with the FBI now? They didn't really make that clear. But he does get the same cool FBI windbreaker.

And yes the fool proof well laid plan for that threesome. Brilliant. Obviously. Because she sat down and in less then 5 seconds they approached her.
And I think its a Following theme, to have murderous couples that get a sexual thrill out of killing.

Mark is just there for show I'm sure. Joe is somehow communicating with the other cult members and their is some larger super cult yet to be revealed. I wonder how many of the prison guards and US Marshals are part of the cult? Joe has to escape somehow.

Unless...they're going to use Purefoy this season a Hannibal Lector or Blacklist type dude that Hardy needs, in order to track down the cult.

He can't be executed if you need him to help catch Mark. I can already see Joe being released with an ankle tracker as an FBI consultant.

That's what I thought this season would be

Also, what happened to Claire? Did she elect to go back into protective custody for realsies this time? I don't remember.

And let's also touch on the fact that Mark was the weaker twin of the two and didn't seem to be able to operate on his own without his mother and brother. Now in a year he has eluded law enforcement, escaped the country, got back into the country, establish a cult (probably using cultfinder.com), and started a new killing spree all by himself. And I wonder what he has over the 3 that were doing his bidding? Seems like they were legitimately scared of him. Why I don't know.

They fear his emo skillz.

Oh and, sick twisted serial killer cultists...and the dude whines about the couple eating his yogurt in the fridge and suggests they put names on their food.

And complains about the attractive couple getting it on in the open. I would be popping some popcorn and calling in plays from the sideline and trying to sub myself in

"I'm an emotionless serial killer psycho, but my delicate sensibilities prevent me from watching a couple makeout on a sofa. It's disgusting!"
