The Flash - Gorilla City in 2 weeks

BARRY AND TEAM TRAVEL TO GORILLA CITY AND FACE GRODD – When Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) informs the team that her father (Tom Cavanagh) has been abducted, Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Julian (Tom Felton) voyage to Earth-2 on a rescue mission to save Harry from Gorilla City. As they trek through the forest, Barry and the team are immediately captured and brought to Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov). Grodd tells them he needs their help to stop Solovar (voiced by Keith David), the leader of Gorilla City, as Solovar wants to invade Earth-1. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jesse and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) hit the streets to stop a metahuman that can control gravity, with H.R. and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) guiding them from S.T.A.R. Labs. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & David Kob (#313). Original airdate 2/21/2017.

Just caught up last night. If they try and create a romance between Caitlin and Julian, I'm gonna be pissed. Caitlin is hot and Julian is just annoying.

Looking at her acting credits, she has a lot of appearances in horror films (Friday the 13th, The Crazies, The Ward, Piranha 3DD) before starting on the CW.

It was pretty damn epic. The Gladiator fight between Flash and Solivar was amazing to watch. Beautifully shot and rendered. I also can't believe I finally got to see a live action Gorilla City- even if I wished it was a little more futuristic and a little less Game of Thronesish. But not complaining. A visual feast.

Her dad and HR managed to do it with the identity of someone who was officially dead. Plus Earth 1 seems to be crawling with people from other Earths.

I was let down a bit in places. I wouldn't have gone with Harrison Welles doing that "Gorilla voice" it sounded pretty ridiculous. Better to have him speak using his own voice, or just have Grodd standing there speaking with his mental voice.
And the subplot with Jesse not liking Wally because he's "complete" without her. WTF was that?
Other than that, a decent episode.
