Holy shite. Every couple weeks there's a new poster or a joke video going viral. They are marketing the bajesus out of this movie.

I've seen little kids taking photos with their parents on a Deadpool poster at the movie theater where Deadpool is dressed as Santa and there's a little bench that is his lap and over his head it reads: "Sit on this."

Ryan Reynolds has his twitter feed going nuts with Deadpool announcements and jokes.

This is small marketing at its finest. And the timing of it, February, during the doldrums of the movie year, couldn't be better. Even if it sucks arse, I think this movie will make money.

I'm just impressed.

I love that they're not just Hollywooding the hell out of this. We may actually get the Deadpool movie we need.

I'm really enjoying it. I just saw that they're doing a 12 days of Deadpool starting today on facebook, leading up to a new trailer on Christmas.

Completely agree. They are doing a brilliant job with this movie.

I'm hoping Reynolds delivers on it because this movie is his baby.

He lobbied for a long time to get this thing going and he was made for the role.

Also, the fact that it is low budget, at least relative to other superhero movies, is going to help it, IMO.

At this point they are running the risk of their marketing setting the bar higher than the movie can achieve.

That being said, as long as they remember that Deadpool's fourth wall has window, I don't see how this movie can tank.

Also, if they throw a credit stinger in there that in any way teases Cable, I may have an actual orgasm in the theater.

Maybe I'm too cynical, but this movie has been hyped so much I will be shocked if it doesn't suck.

Suicide Squad will be better than Deadpool

One would hope! frick! Look at the cast, director and budget. If Deadpool is good, it will be a surprising, fun movie in February. If Suicide Squad is good, it will be another summer blockbuster.

Yes! I've read that Cable may be the "villain" in the next film. I'm holding out hope that we get a cameo of some sort in this one.... along with T-Ray!!!!

Fox seems to be letting the filmmakers do their thing on this.
