Has anyone else ever made a phone call on the challenge? I can't remember a single time someone was shown talking on the phone to someone back home on a challenge. Makes me think the call was fake for sure

Back in the day, they used to make phone calls all the time. Whenever they wanted. Of course they also had more free time and even one day a week when there were no cameras around. They severely limited that in recent seasons along with pretty much all other creature comforts (On Rivals 2, the house in Thailand didn't have AC for the first week). Which is a big reason a lot of the older contestants won't come back. I kind of wonder if they may be loosening this a bit because of the phone call and because this house looks way nicer than anything they have had recently.

Yeah for a while there they weren't even going out to bats anymore, Bananas said it had gotten like a prison, they even smuggled in a Harry Potter book once Nd read it aloud at night only to have it confiscated. Crazy.

I actually read a story about how Susie got fined during the Ruins because she went and laid out on the front lawn of the house. They weren't supposed to leave the building. That's why almost every scene you see on that season is in the bedrooms

I read an interview with Susie and she said it was horrible conditions there. Too many rules and all. Not sure if they picked safer locations or bumped up security but they get out a lot more now. I think they tried to confine them to make the cameras quicker to engage when necessary.

The Simone/Wes thing seems extremely fake. Very similar to the Nany/Bananas thing which screamed "staged for cameras." I think Simone is trying to be the new Coral...Loud, fights with people for no reason and sucks at challenges. Shitty for us viewers though, because she is in half of every episode. Her accusing Ashley of making stuff up for camera time is laughable. Ashley actually seems legit nuts, Simone seems like a devious bitch.

This episode showed how stupid Johnny and Jessica are. They should have set the order much differently with the way the game was setup.
They should have put themselves in the last group against the worst people, so they wouldn't get a loss. To appease their friends, they should have split them up in the first two heats against weak teams. This way their whole friends group would be safe.

Had some flip phone that wouldn't send frick for the longest time so I got used to typing fvck instead, and now it's pretty much a hard fast habit. It drives my gf crazy in texts haha.
