Looks like the remade the same movie only this one looks like it takes itself way too seriously.

Looks like the same freaking movie trailer as the first one.. Just new actors etc.. Wonder if they done the whole movie with copy and paste..

I agree, I understand that it is a reboot but this is ridiculous.

itll be worth it. better actors for the roles. no ridiculous green goblin and whiney son. no terrible dunst. Peter stays in high school and it highlights his own life more. im pumped for it

What the hell, why did they restart the whole series over? The spider bite thing and all. I personally didn't like the first person swinging around, everything looked way too fake and CGI'd.
I just think this is really dumb considering this exact movie came out 9 years ago.

uh thats the spider-man character. hes a high school student. the book was about that for decades and has since returned to that.

its rebooted because if SONY (not marvel/disney) does not make a movie then the right go back to marvel, which they want to avoid.

I liked Spidey 1 & 2, 3 not so much. I liked Toby McGuire as Peter Parker, but kirsten Dunst didn't offer much as MJ other than some nice funbags in a wet top. I thought Willam Dafoe as the Green Goblin was a great idea, until I saw the stupid arse helmet. Dafoe's face is PERFECT as it is for the GG, why cover it with a stupid helmet? Doc Oc was by far the best villain of the Raime series, much better as a tragic villain instead of the raving lunatic of the comics.
Now, for no reason I can fathom, they're rebooting it? Why? Everyone knows Spidey's origin, we don't need to see it AGAIN. Just go with a #4 and spin it how you want to. That's one of the few things I respected about Superman Returns, they just built off of Spuerman II and ignored all the shitty stuff like III and IV.
Sadly, because I'm a comicbook nerd, I'll probably go see this Spidey movie, but I ain't paying full price by God. I'll see a matinee or something.

Of course this is iirc, and from the real storyline. . .not any of the multiple re-writes and reboots.
