Saw previews for it during arrow. Gave it a try and I really like it.

Season 1 is on Netflix

I searched but didn't see anything. I'm sure it's been discussed here before

I did too. It kept getting recommended on NetFlix and I was reluctant because I was afraid a CW show with a bunch of teenagers on it would be full of stupid teen drama, but I was surprised that they've done a good job minimizing it. Season 1 was a solid post apocolyptic scifi show. I was too late to watch Season 2 live, but I'll watch it when it hits NetFlix for sure.

I'm watching the first couple episodes of season 2 online. Gonna do my Hulu plus trial for the last 5 episodes of first half of S2. Then I will be caught up to live.

I feel kind of weird saying this b/c I used to scoff at the idea of watching the channel but I think the CW has been the best of the traditional over the air networks this last year quality wise with their shows.

Arrow, Flash, The 100, Jane the Virgin, Reign, Supernatural, and even the two vampire shows are all consistently well done from what all I've seen.

This looks terribly boring and stuffy based on the previews, but it's another one NetFlix regularly recommends to me. How is it?

IMO its kind of like a less racy version of The Tudors.

I wouldn't exactly call it brilliant but it kind of sucks you in if you can look past the network TV budget.

It can be surprisingly violent at times as well.

I checked the app on my Xbox. Didn't have it. I thought it was only the last 5 episodes?

Just checked. First episode I can watch on the app is S2E4

My sister keeps getting me to watch it. I told her I'll watch it as soon as she watches Psych

Its actually really good man. I like it 1000x more than I expected. The first episode or so is a little CW but after that it the actors seem to really find their characters and its really good

When I initially heard the premise of the show I immediately wrote it off, but I hear it's been getting good reviews and I know the main chick just won an Emmy for her role. What do you think of the show?

And if you can look past the obviously NOT ACCURATE TO THE TIMES costumes

But I actually like and watch both shows. Both come back this week on the CW finally

At it's heart it's a chick drama, so I could see it getting a lot of hate on the M/TV board, but it's done in an over the top TelaNovela style that makes it as much comedy as drama/romance. I think it's one of those shows where you could tell in an episode or 2 if you'll like it or not.

So from the previews I was repeatedly shown while watching Flash, Arrow, and the 100 on cw.com, I gather she's a virgin, but she's pregnant. Can you tell me if her son is Jesus, or is that too much of a spoiler?

To tell you would be minor spoilery for the first episode more than the series, but the answer is common enough you'll probably be let down when you find out. If you really want to know

They are the absolute worst when it comes to commercial variety. Somebody please sponsor the CW so I don't have to watch the same damn show promos over and over.

They keep showing that Arrow preview of Ollie fighting himself as the Arrow, Fight Club style, even though it doesn't really relate to the actual events in the show.

I've only watched a few episodes but what I've seen is good enough that its one of those shows that I might not necessarily go out of my way to watch if I was a single guy but if I happened to be in the room when my SO was marathoning it on Netflix I'd get caught up in it and end up watching it with her when it airs live. Gina Rodriguez is really good in it as well. The hype for her in the role is legit IMO.
