Taboo- New TV Series starring Tom Hardy

Watched the first episode and came away very impressed. I think Hardy is a phenomenal actor- even if his brooding, silent, take on characters is overused. It happens to work like slow building magic in the premier. Jonathan Pryce will be a worthy adversary, but I honestly think Hardy can pull this one off alone. Looking forward to the new episodes.

I've been really looking forward to this one. Is Jonathan Pryce the villain? He kills it in every role he's in. One of my favorite actors alive.

There's a reason that's his trademark. The silent brooding is easier to follow than his spoken word.

A friend in the industry in the UK sent me the episode as it premiered there last night- but I checked and is available on primewire. Premieres here on Tuesday I believe.

Yeah I just looked it up and didn't realize it was airing in the UK as well. Was wondering if FX did an early showing or something. I guess I'll just wait till Tuesday and watch another episode or two of Travelers tonight

First saw Pryce in "Barbarians At The Gate", where he played Henry Kravis. I'll never forget how he calmly said, "Napalm."
