Voting Russell out was why the other tribe fell apart and lost in the end.

You have to have a guy to hate, if not you turn on each other fast.

They would have been up 2 at the merge and not down.

Yea that was their downfall. But Russell was to pushy out of the gate. His game was too well known.

Thinking back, I don't think I have ever seen a more well played season than what Rob just put forth. He backstabbed all of them and had them thanking him for it.

Rob coming through with the win restored my faith in the show. I had already decided if he got robbed of the title, I wouldn't watch ever again.

Any guesses on which 2 come back for the season? If they chose from this season I say matt and russell. Good vs evil.

I always like the reunion show because the women have bathed properly and are no longer emaciated.

While I didn't watch this survivor this season, I have watched others with Boston Rob as well as the Amazing Race, and he always plays the best game out of all of them and thus I would say is probably the greatest reality tv contestant of all time. He may look and sound dumb, but the guy is extremely intelligent. He's one of the few people in the Amazing Race to really get that rushing is usually just going to lead to fricking up and really took his time and that usually lead to him winning each leg. Now that Rob has won Survivor (something I'm going to guess he deserves for being the best player), he and Amber need to go back to the Amazing Race and win it outright. Those 2 are the most difficult reality competitions (aside from maybe "The Biggest Loser"), and if he wins that one, then he will certainly hold the crown.

I have the opposite emotion. I'm done with Survivor. The guy gets 4 chances to win? and dumbass Russell gets 3?

I enjoyed it most of the seasons that I watched, but I really don't want to keep seeing the same people on there season after season.

Oh, and women are stupid.

Same here. I get tired of people not voting for someone because they lied or backstabbed or had more than one alliance. That's the only way to get to the end. You can't play this game and be completely honest. If you do, you go home. It's always been that way.

Kudos to Rob for finally winning one AND getting the $100k bonus.

Best complete game in Survivor history.

So, Amber won the million on all stars and Rob got $100k for second. Then he gets 1.1 million this time. They should be able to live comfortably.

I don't know. Seem like he benefited from the 'luck of the draw.' If he would have been on Russel's tribe, I kind of think that they would not have let him lead them around by their noses. He played great, but played with a tribe of sycophants who were too scared to make a move.

It's just frustrating to me that these idiots let him run riot like this. No way, no how should he have ever been past the first 2 or 3 tribals. They can say now that they knew he had the hidden immunity idol, but that is irrelevant. He still could have been blindsided.

Everytime they asked the girls if they ever thought about getting Rob, they just went back to the decision in the final 4, like that was the first time it even dawned on them. They had plenty of other opportunities to do it, but they were too dumb and naive to think about it.

Also, Natalie was the hottest this season for me.

Agreed. All the more reason to give him props for winning. He walked in with a huge target on his back. But the girls were so star struck they couldn't think.

ETA: Natalie,Andrea,Ashley all looked pretty hot at the reunion. I don't even remember the blonde in the back row. They didn't even talk to her.

oh and this....is more man than woman....

Exactly!
He played a great game, no doubt. But he wouldn't have gone far on the other tribe...... He was also fortunate Matt didn't flip when he came back from redemption island.

Yeah, I agree. But he played the hand he was dealt and he played it well.

It sounds like this is going to be the new theme for survivor, bring back two previous players.

I never could remember the man/woman's name, so I just called her Almost Cyclops.

ETA: And speaking of her, get off your fricking high horse. I can't stand when people come in all butt-hurt to the final tribal council. "None of you played a respectable game". How the hell was it disrespectful. They didn't backstab anybody not in their own tribe. It was known when the merge happened that the smaller tribe was going to be picked off, and that is what happened. When it got down to 6, they had to do something. There was no easy way to wittle down.

David's speech at the end was beautiful, and I had a feeling he would be smart enough to see that it is a fricking game. If he had been on the jury for Russell's 2 final tribals, Russell might have won. Also, speaking of David, does anyone else think his fiance just said yes to avoid embarassing the hell out of him?
