Wow, I'm surprised it was a clean sweep. I'm not shocked he won though.

Same here, I was hoping Ken would take it. But, after Adam's final statement with all of the water works, he had it locked up.

Also, does it seem like Probst announces the winner before actually opening the last vote?

Glad to see Caleb get another shot. Makayla probably deserves another shot but, i can't stand her.

And, he announced the one chick as a 2 time winner. I remember her winning the johnny fairplay season but, which other one did she win?

Although this definitely wasn't my favorite season, it wasn't the worst either.

I REALLY disliked the Millennials but the Gen-Xers weren't much more likable. But Jay and Adam eventually became the two I was rooting for. Even though he was a gamer, never gave up, and had an incredible transformation, due to his complete ineptitude I just couldn't get behind David. Hannah was a GOAT coattail rider through and through. I found myself pulling for Ken at times, and I was surprised that he didn't get at least a couple of votes.

In the end, Adam definitely deserved the win. I think what sealed his win was that he DIDN'T tell everyone about his mom until the final word. He was able to stay off people's radar who would think he had the sympathy vote locked up until the end when he played that last card, and GOT the sympathy vote.

His mom dying an hour after he got home is just crazy. Giving $100,000 to that cancer fund was another of the admirable moves the kid made throughout the show, and proved he was a standup guy. I'm happy for him.

I agree with this. Adam wasn't my favorite, but he definitely played a good enough game to win. I'm surprised at the anger by some in here with him winning. He was not even close to one of the least deserving winners. Yeah, he cried a lot on the show, but his mom was fricking dying. I would imagine someone would need a real stone heart to not get choked up when he let everyone know his mom died an hour after he got home.

I thought Jay was probably the most deserving, but I wasn't upset with Adam winning. Jay really won over a lot of people. I had him lumped in with Taylor as a dumbass surfer boy in the beginning. That just wasn't the case. He had such a good head on his shoulders. I love when people can put personal stuff aside and acknowledge it is a game. I also thought it was great how he went out in the end. I expect him to be back in a future season.

Speaking of future seasons. I looked up the cast for next season and Zeke was listed. That has to be an error, right? At the time of the live finale, the next season had already been shot. There is no way they would go on and on about Michaela and not Zeke.

Zeke is on next season. I think they wanted to hype Michaela up since she went out pre-jury and some may have forgotten about her.

Ironically, worst winner ever. Both times.

BTW, what was Chris beef with Ken?

Didn't Chris include Ken in a plan to vote someone (maybe David) out and then Ken went and told the plan to the target, which ended up being the demise of Chris in the following episode?

Maybe not the worst winner ever, but very close to it, in both seasons.

Who is y'all's best ever winner?
I've been watching Survivor with my parents since it first premiered & I have gone back and rewatched a lot of seasons.
The best winners IMO would be (in no order)
JT
Todd
Chris
Brian
Tom

he's at the top of my list. He invented alliances in this game.

For those who want a refresher.

I started watching in 2007. The best two winners I've seen were Boston Rob (the second time) and Jeremy a few seasons ago. Everybody knew Rob was going to win, and he still had an easy time making the final. Jeremy won the best season I've seen and had the best final tribal council that I can remember. He answered every question perfectly.

You need to find a way to watch season 1. That was Survivor.

Amazon streaming

It's awesome rewatching season 1 with how crude the production was and how simple the challenges were.

I don't remember but they never worked together or even talked to each other. It just always seemed Chris was trying to out-Alpha Ken.

No way Adam finds that final idol without outside help.
Crap like this ruins the the game for me. I know this show is somewhat scripted bUT I try to ignore it.That made it hard to ignore.
