This season is playing out a lot like All Stars. Lots of heavy hitters going out early.

For real. I'm just praying JT & Ozzy go deep. I'll be thoroughly pissed if we end up with Tai, Aubry, Jeff, Debbie & Michaela in the finale episode as F5

I have been wondering if maybe they brought back the Outcast twist from Pearl Islands this season

What was the Outcast twist?
I was 5 at the time it premiered, so I don't remember much besides my boy Rupert

Yeah the editors absolutely threw us for a loop, and I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be happening all season.
Gosh I wish it'd have been Sandra tonight. Now the rest of em think the GOAT (JT) turned on em even though he didn't.

Eff this season. Malcolm and Caleb were two of about 4 likeable people.

My thoughts exactly. If/when JT & Ozzy are voted out I might boycott the rest of this season

Remember when I told y'all a couple of weeks ago that JT is an idiot and can't play without a Fishbach type directing him?

Yeah.

His dumbass doesn't tell Culpepper who his tribe is voting for then that idol doesn't get played on Sierra.

Moron. Nice guy but a moron nonetheless.

Yep that moron. The second JT stood up and ran to Culpepper, I'm surprised Sandra didn't rally the troops and even the other side to vote jt out. I liked the twist. I'm not pulling for anybody at this point except I want to see how much they can throw twists and turns at all of them. Fckit and them, next week I want to see drop the buffs, we're changing tribes and bringing back exile island.

Yep. Just frick their minds every week with some ridiculous twist.

JT has now done this same thing TWICE!!

In HvV, he sent Russell a love note and AN IDOL. IE - trusted someone on another tribe with info and got burned.

At least this time only his closest ally on his current tribe got idoled out and boned. Last time, HE got idoled out - WITH HIS OWN IDOL.

JT sends Russell a letter

Jerri thinks JT is an idiot

JT blindsided by the idol he gave to Russell

JT lol

Halfway through Pearl Islands they brought back all the people who had been voted off as a third tribe. They weren't permanent, but they got to compete in an immunity challenge with the two tribes. The Outcasts won the challenge and they got to vote two people back into the game.

I'm pretty sure JT was thinking what we all were, they were targeting Sandra.

By JT telling Brad his tribe was voting Sierra that would give them the opportunity to play the idol for her, and get rid of Sandra easily.
By doing that, JT could still vote with his tribe, so as to not look like a traitor (in case they DIDN'T have an idol), and still have the person he wanted out to go home.

In theory, had it worked I think it would've gone down as one of the best moves ever made, especially with the crazy tribal twist. So you can say "yeah, he made a dumb move" but is that not why everyone is here? For making "game changing" moves, regardless of if they worked how said person planned?

That is what I think, too.

The look on his face when it blew up in his face. Yikes.

So JT thought that Sandra's tribe was going to vote for Sandra? So he told them Sierra, who he tribe was voting for, thinking Sandra's tribe would vote Sandra out?

Man, thats bad thinking there if correct.

I have to give the producers credit, they keep coming up with interesting twists to the game.

I love the 2 tribes at once thing they did last night.

I'd do 2 reward challenges next and everybody goes. Just drop a note off at each camp 3 hours or so that there 3 more hidden idols that can be played after the vote, and the first tribe to find it can use it last.

Or....the person who finds it can keep it to use themselves from the next tribal council they attend.

Half the show would be crazy from the paranoia

No, the plan was (from JT's viewpoint) for HIS tribe (being Sandra's also) to vote for Sierra. While at the same time, Brad's tribe was supposed to vote for Sandra.

JT told Brad they were voting Sierra so they would play the idol for her, cancelling out their 6 votes and giving 5 to Sandra, finally sending her home.

That way, he and Malcolm would look like they're still "with" their tribe (by voting the same as their tribe) but in reality they got the outcome they were hoping for, Sandra being gone.

Of course though, Brad had to freak everything up

I'm surprised more people are not mad that they gave Tai a idol. I mean Tai just finds a idol the afternoon before they go to tribal, with probably the most detailed location of a idol in survivor history
