Decent episode.
Loving the cat fight with the new assistant. Although I suspect that she's up to no good and will bite them in the arse in the long run.
They are so dumb for letting maxwell out. He's going to go back to his old ways. Sometimes being a hero is sacrificing their conscience for the greater good. Maxwell is evil and everybody knows that.

I like that they didn't just imply that Indigo was Brainiac, they flat out STATED it.
My complaint was that Wynn beat Brainiac way too easy and that Indigo didn't speak in the third person like Brainiac always does.
"All knowledge will be assimilated and will belong...to Brainiac".

You know, for the first six years of his existence in comics, Brainiac was an alien and not a robot. It was later retconned that he was a robot. They had to do some fancy footwork to explain how Brainiac 5 could be his great great (snip) grandson when he was a robot.

At some point sooner or later in this show, Superman will have to make an appearance. I'm looking forward to it. It likely won't be this season, Probable for next season. Sure thing for 3rd season.
Really liked Smallville's supergirl making an appearance although she was really poorly done as indigo in terms of appearance. That blue paint and the claws really didn't crack my suspension of disbelief.
I really hope they don't pair Jimmy and Kara up. It's such a stupid pairing.

-Episode 1.17 (the one before the crossover) is called "Manhunter" and shows the meeting between J'Onn J'Onzz, Hank Henshaw, and Jeremiah Danvers.
-Supergirl has been renewed for a 2nd season.

I like the show. I feel it has progressed well thru the season and lots of character development. I wish they would have at least one episode without crying. Every single episode it is either Kara/Supergirl having an emotional breakdown or her sister. They cry way too much. I want to watch a superhero show not a lifetime series. Also the whole Jimmy/Kara love angle needs to end. Those two have no connection to each other as well. No chemistry. It just needs to end and they be friends/co workers and that is it.
