Good ending episode. There was only one thing that somewhat bothered me. I know the whole premise of the show (Mike pretending to be a lawyer) is a stretch, but Ava hiring Tanner doesn't make sense to me. She was pissed at Harvey because she felt he seemed more interested in beating Cameron than actually defending her, so what's the difference in hiring Tanner to sue Harvey? Not only is it Tanner's mission in life to beat Harvey, but he was already 0-2 against him.
As much as I have enjoyed the first 3 seasons, I feel like it's getting close to jumping the shark. How long can Mike possibly go without getting fired, or his secret being completely out?

I think the show is poised for a dropoff soon. Like you said, there is only so much mileage they can get from the premise. I don't really like the fact that they are trying to force Rachel as some kind of badass. I still don't get what leverage she had over Jessica to going in guns blazing making a demand that the Harvard rule be waived.

This season was not nearly as good as the first two.

She knows Mike is a fraud. She knows Jessica knows Mike is a fraud and is allowing him to continue to work there. That's MASSIVE leverage.

I agree, I already know how this show ends, Mike ends up leaving to go to school and becoming a real lawyer.

Where will that happen? Unless he uses a new identity, he's too deep to just go to school. It ends with him in prison.

Except that she knows Rachel isn't going to expose her boyfriend, so the leverage is canceled out. Even if they break up, Rachel ain't outting him and someone as shrewd as Jessica would see that.

Well, Rachel should have just gone to Stanford. Mike could go to California and take the bar, surprise surprise, become a real lawyer there, and open the California office of Pearson Specter. Then if he wanted to come back and practice in New York, he could reciprocate in (without, somehow, tipping off the New York bar that he practiced law unlicensed for a period of 3 years or so )
(for those that don't know, California has open bar admissions and does not require a law degree).
