Defiantly a guilty pleasure movie of mine. I saw it around 1992 after a rough day at work and for some reason it just stuck with me. That and Diane Lane wanted me.

I was thinking of this movie and wikiing it last week.

When it came out I'd assumed it was a hit. The music videos were on TV and the radio was playing it up big.

I didn't see it till it was on cable.

Turns out it was a financial flop. They had intended it to be a trilogy, but never went forward with the sequels.

LOVE this movie. Ultimate 80's flick. Street fights and synth ballads. And a feathered haired smoke show in Diane Lane.

Fire Inc. wasn't even a real band, existing only for this movie, but spun out two monsters:
