What are the best options for streaming sports? Specifically football, preferably HD. I pretty much never watch cable TV and want to cut the cord.

You can buy madden 25 special edition and get a code to get the nfl ticket stream on your laptop, tablet etc. That's what I did. I just found a buddy who was planning on buying the game anyway and payed extra for the special addition.
As far as college football, espn will stream the games via espn3.
