This sucks

Searched, didn't see this posted.

Streaming is the future and is going to take over sooner than later, but this is a huge step backwards

for Netflix, yes, but Warner Bros., MGM, Universal, and Viacom are just kicking themselves in their collective asses for not figuring this out years ago, they were so shortsighted. It'll come back around sooner than you think

cassette tape
the VCR
napster
DVR

all shocked the entertainment industry in some form or fashion, once studios and production companies get a better gauge of how to assess and place a market value on their product that they can live with, it'll be back......probably on Netflix......and like cable TV, their fees will go up, which will result in your monthly fees rising

It would suck if Netflix were the only way to watch these shows online.

I mean shite, we don't even have to pay. Don't these companies realize that?

FWIW that number is very inflated

Just looking at the first two pages, it had like 30 different Barney movies and 20 different Bob the Builder shows

Castaway was the only thing that caught my eye really, and I didn't even know Netflix instant had that in the first place

It will be fine. Now they will be able to negotiate for content they/their customers want, and not the junk they were forced to take.

I can't pull it up either. Is Breaking Bad on the list?

ETA:

Looks like mostly kids tv shows and comedy central stuff. The loss of movies doesn't bother me as their selection was pretty shitty before.

I've always said that I'm willing to pay double (maybe even triple) what I'm paying now if that meant Netflix could stream whatever the frick they want. We pay, what, $8/month for a subscription between the gf and I? My morning coffee dumps are worth more than that.

I read this as "Star Wars Begins tomorrow" and nearly spilt hydrochloric acid during my prep. So happy it's not and I didn't

Yep. They wiped that shite out man. Never realized how many seasons there were until I looked at that list and South Park takes up almost an entire page.
