What the frick was Anakin thinking? He didn't come close to pulling that off.

What's the point of fighting if you can't show off your ability to do unneccesary flips like Roy in Arrow?

I'm an idiot. Never put together that Anakin tried the same move that Obi-Won pulled with Darth Maul, so Obi-Won knew what to do.

Maul actually beat them both in a fair fight.

They were in the wrong trying to be 2 on 1.

They really do a bad job illustrating how powerful the Sith were. Palpatine tore his whole family apart with his mind, before he became Darth Plageus' apprentice. Anakin was even more powerful. He could have easily killed Padme by accident with his rage. I always thought that was part of it..

I disagree. The Emperor is literally on par with Yoda. Anakin after his turn to the darkside was crazy powerful and only lost versus Obi-Wan because he lacked focus. If Anakin killed Obi-Wan, odds are the very next thing he would do would be kill Palpatine and attempt to take over the galaxy himself. They actually show this in an alternate ending to the PS2 game (underrated).

The Jedi though are shown as hilariously incompetent like that Dinosaur-faced Jedi Council member who got punked by Jango Fett at the end of Episode 2 and how Palpatine destroyed every Jedi but Mace Windu in Revenge of the Sith. Even all the Jedi in the temple, I understand that many if not most of them were scattered throughout the galaxy fighting in the Clone Wars, but of all the Jedi left in the temple, Anakin and a bunch of clone troopers wiped out every last one of them.

This. People really, really underestimate and under appreciate Obi Wan Kenobi. Dude was much more bad mother fricker than people seem to acknowledge.

Ill tempered too. He lops off Anakin's arm and legs, watches him catch fire from the lava... and then gives him a lecture. You do not want to get on his bad side.

The Emperor was more powerful than Yoda and Anakin was even more powerful potentially. They just didn't have enough time to show how powerful those two men were. The march on the temple was epic, but they could have shown Anakin actually in action tearing everyone apart. Even when he went to Mustafar, he didn't have to draw a light saber to kill those people. It was a cool scene, but he could have shut all the doors and then destroyed everyone in the room.

All I'm saying is they needed more of a build up and I didn't like him force chocking Padme. He would have snapped her neck in a second. I'd rather her injured away from the fight, maybe as a distraction that gave Kenobi the chance to defeat a much more powerful foe.

Did you see the Clone Wars when Palpatine fights Maul? Thats the type of power I wanted shown..
