Why didn't Chewie get a medal at the end of episode 4? This has never sat right with me. He deserved a medal.

The honorees had their choice of a medal or a blowjob.
The Wookiee chose wisely.

In the original movie Wookiees were betrayed as vicious. Wookiees pull people's arms out their socket when they lose board games. Chewie almost lost it when Luke went to put on the binders. They made Han's relationship seem unique. Then the prequels took a dump on the whole Wookiees are just above Bigfoot in social skills.

I think that was more the Imperial propaganda that made their enslavement not as much a travesty galaxy wide.
