re: Spinoff: who would you like to see as the new James Bond?

Either Hiddleston or Elba. The only drawback to Hiddleston is that we'd miss out on him being a villain in every other movie ever made. Fassbender is way too big of a star.
My dark horse? Dan Stevens. He pulled off the fake aristocratic thing in Downton Abbey, and he's pretty young. He'd also be fairly cheap.

I don't care, as long as he's black.
Because they are the most qualified actors for the role of James Bond.

Agree 100%. But I want Marvel to get him for Danny Rand in a film, but that's just me. His acting chops might be wasted there however. I like him as Bond too though.

I got nothing against RoPatt but he would be a completely unbelievable Bond

Muslim or transgender would be better

We are overdue for a female bond. You know it, everyone knows it.

That bowtie is way too large to be considered a legitimate bond.
Eh, the mustache in the first pic makes up for the bowtie.
Would also proffer Paul Anderson from Peaky Blinders and Sherlock Holmes. No idea how old he is. It's not listed on IMDB or Wikipedia.
Not to sound like I'm listing Peaky Blinder's actors, but Joe Cole would be ok in the role.
No Ben Barnes mention yet?
Jamie Bell
Clive Standen from Hammer of the Gods and Vikings.
Charlie Bewley from Hammer of Gods.
Tom Hopper
Even William Moseley, if he has toned down the over acting, would potentially fit. I mean, where is the kid from Narnia?
All are guys who could do it. Standen and Hopper are the biggest reaches of this bunch, imo. Bond is not a mini hulk, and both of those guys are huge.
While I said there was a dearth of talent, I meant guys who can fill the role while maintaining the "look" without being too big to already take it on.

Danny Rand is gonna be on TV first, so think much, much smaller. No way is Stevens up for Iron Fist.

Baloo: Dream Crusher
Stevens is going to blow up after Beauty and the Beast.

It would never happen, but my pick would be Philip Winchester. He's not a household name but he's a fantastic actor, and he's got the square-jawed good looks and athletic physique that are needed to play Bond. He's actually American by birth, but he almost always plays British characters because his accent is so spot on because he grew up in England. Apparently, he can even fool Brits. I think he's hot a new series coming out this fall too.

Tom Hardy
Michael Fassbender
Either. Fassbender is the perfect Bond in but almost too perfect. I'd love to see what Hardy would do with it and I think he'd be the most interesting pick.

Bond is not supposed to be young. I don't know why everyone assumes he is. Bond was in the Royal Navy a long time before he became an agent. 30s-50s is when he would be active.
