In the spirit of Grievous Angel's movie music placement thread, what is your favorite music placement in TV shows?
A few that come to mind:
Six Feet Under Finale (S5, E12): Breathe Me - Sia (The truly perfect finale ending)
Wednesday Dance Scene (S1, E4): Goo Goo Muck - The Cramps
Fleabag Ending Scene (S2, E2): This Feeling - Alabama Shakes
Greys Anatomy Denny/Izzy Scene (S2, E27): Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol (That song skyrocketed after that episode)

EXCELLENT choice
Man, that was truly gut-wrenching too. First time I watched that scene I just sat there shocked when the train rolls by.

Goo Goo Muck - The Cramps
Just a side note on how spot on this choice was for this show/scene. Not the most well known song from the era, but certainly reflected the sound of the time. Like the dance, the song was simple and direct. Very fun to watch on screen.
Over The Rainbow - Israel Kamakawio'ole has been used well in other shows, like Scrubs.

Wilco’s Spiders (Kidsmoke) playing throughout the whole episode of The Bear’s Review episode was really great and added to the tension.

Miami Vice - "Out Where The Buses Don't Run" ending:
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
Honestly, Miami Vice probably dominates this topic.

They basically invented the pop song in a tv show thing.

Pretty much anytime they played “Wayward Son” on Supernatural
The song is so perfect for that show that it might as well have been written for it
But I have to admit that the a cappella version sung by the all-female cast in the high school musical “Fan Fiction“ episode really gets me. YouTube
