Actully if you study battle many soldiers freeze in combat and never do a thing but hunker down. Upham was a complex character who was a good person in way over there head. I would have to go with Emperor Commodus from Gladiator.

Tom cruise or Sylvester Stallone in anything they've ever done. Most folks seem to think they're talented but I consider any character they play to be my most hated. Sorry
