They do eventually chill on some if the blood splatter, but there's always a little of it. I'd at least try a few episodes before giving up on it. At least get to Crixus and Batiatus.

It gets much better. I watched the first episode when it first aired (2010) and didn't give it a second chance. The blood spatter effects were a big part of that. I've since watched the whole thing in the last few months and consider it one of my top shows.

That's good to hear. I just got finished binge-watching Justified so I need another show to catch up on.
