NEW YORK, October 7, 2013 - The world faces death, destruction, chaos and Eric Cartman in all-new episode of "South Park" titled "World War Zimmerman," premiering Wednesday, October 9 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

Cartman is deeply disturbed by a single person who he sees as a threat to all humanity. He races around the country to put an end to Patient Zero, the ticking time bomb that is Token.

This has potential. I was always wishing that South Park would have been on the air during all that Zimmerman crap.

I'm glad they are going back to what they do best. Seemed like the last two seasons they kind of branched out and slightly went away from just making fun of news stories. They realized this is where their best humor comes from.

This is probably the most polarizing viewpoint on South Park. Half of the fans say it's best when they just do random crap and don't always try to force current events into their episodes, and then the other half like the episodes more because they are not only funny but relevant.

Not sure where I stand, but it is interesting to see how fans react to these types of episodes. I can't deny I'm looking forward to seeing how they deal with the Zimmerman situation.

What episode # in the season will this one be?

I had no idea an new season was starting and missed the first however many episodes. Caught the minecraft murder rerun thankfully.
